The Foxborough Police Department School Resource Officers (SRO’s) are responsible for a variety of school-based, community-based, patrol, court, and administrative activities. In accordance with department policy and state regulation, SRO’s are never used as school employees or disciplinarians for school-based or handbook infractions. SRO’s are called upon to partner and collaborate with school administrators, faculty, students, and families as much as possible within the confines of their roles to promote the safety and wellbeing of all.
